Book Review ~~ Sidney Sheldon

Tell Me Your Dreams
Sidney Sheldon

I almost put this book down once I figured out what it was about. It is so much more than a woman believing she is being stalked. However, I pushed through and rather enjoyed reading it once I got into the second half of the story. In the end, I was rooting for the main character in so many ways.  Sorry -- not giving any spoilers.

The Traitor in the Trunk

Cozy Mystery
April 23, 2026

When Kelsey Reed inherits her grandfather’s garage and finds a corpse in a car trunk, she must unravel the mystery before there’s another victim.

It was a year of change for Kelsey, and it was only April. Her husband of three years decided as Laird of Castle McDeannkorin to volunteer with the 6 SCOTS. A three-week commitment that turned into an operational deployment for the next ten months. Kelsey didn’t have long to wonder how she would fill her time. Her grandpa died a week after Aengus deployed, leaving Kelsey the sole owner of his house and business – an auto repair shop in Wisteria, Wisconsin – wherever that was.

As Kelsey worked to keep her grandfather’s legacy alive and ensure the success of Gerbera’s Garage, she was confronted by a series of troubling incidents. The situation escalated from the alarming discovery that someone was using the auto shop to abandon vehicles, to a far more disturbing revelation—a body was found in the trunk of one of the dumped cars. This latest incident made it clear that Gerbera’s Garage was now at the center of a much larger and more dangerous mystery. A mystery only she could unravel.

Giving on Purpose How 30 Days of Conscious Giving can Change Your Life
Inspirational Non-Fiction
March 22, 2026

What if the key to abundance isn’t giving more—but giving in balance?

We’ve been taught that it’s more blessed to give than to receive. But what if receiving is just as sacred as giving? And what if the two were never meant to exist apart?

The Giving on Purpose journal invites you to explore the powerful, often misunderstood connection between giving and receiving. If you’ve ever felt like you give endlessly—your time, love, energy, or resources—yet struggle to receive in return, this journal was created for you.

Through guided reflection and intentional prompts, Giving on Purpose gently opens your heart and mind to conscious giving—helping you recognize where imbalance may be blocking blessings and how aligning giving with receiving can transform your spiritual and emotional well-being.

Inside, you’ll discover how to:

•          Release guilt around receiving

Recognize your worthiness to receive from God

•          Cultivate deeper gratitude in everyday life

•          Restore balance between generosity and abundance

By the final page, readers experience a renewed sense of self-worth, a deeper belief in their God-given worthiness to receive, and a lasting attitude of gratitude.

Give freely. Receive boldly. Live abundantly.

Giving on Purpose: How 30 Days of Conscious Giving can Change Your Life is your invitation to do all three—without guilt, fear, or limitation.

Review: The Secret, Book & Scone Society

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Wounds Can Heal

A January 2026 Chapter Chat Book Club Author to Read Selection

I’ve not read Ms. Adams before, but I am glad that I now have. This is the first in an 8-book series, and I can’t wait to dive into the second book of the series.

The series centers around four damaged women in the small town of Miracle Springs. In this, the first in the series, each has their own healing specialty, and their own tragic secret they’ve kept tight to the vest. That is, until the untimely death of a tourist in town brings them together as they search for the killer and wade through the deception of several unscrupulous businesspeople in town trying to sell new homes to be built in a new subdivision.

The interesting part of this book, and I’ll find out in the second if the theme continues, is how, through their unusual ways, they help people heal from their darkness. Even the bad guys.

I highly recommend this for those who love a good cozy mystery.
